Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of AvPlot (avplot.com). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Read Sections 1–3 carefully — they describe what AvPlot is, and just as importantly, what it is not.
1. No FAA Affiliation
AvPlot is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or any other government agency. References to FAA publications, including AC 150/5300-13B and FAA NASR data, are made solely to identify the public standards and data sources the software consults.
2. Planning Reference Only — Not for Construction
All AvPlot outputs — including generated linework, DXF/KMZ/XLSX/CSV exports, computed dimensions, classifications, and tabulated standards — are provided for planning and reference purposes only. They are intended as production support for planning studies, design reports, and ALP narratives. They are not construction documents, and they are not a substitute for stamped engineering work, surveying, or formal FAA review and approval.
3. Your Responsibility to Verify
You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of every output against the current editions of the applicable FAA publications (including, without limitation, AC 150/5300-13B and its changes, 14 CFR Part 77, and current FAA NASR data) before relying on it in any deliverable. Standards change; data cycles refresh; software has defects.
The citation trail that accompanies AvPlot outputs is provided as a convenience to assist your verification — it is not a guarantee of correctness, completeness, or currency of any value or citation.
4. Accounts and Beta Access
AvPlot is currently in invite-gated beta. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address to register.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest the service, its data, or its API by automated means;
- Use automated bulk access to extract reference data or generated outputs;
- Redistribute, resell, or republish AvPlot outputs or reference data as, or as part of, a competing product or service;
- Attempt to probe, disable, or circumvent authentication, rate limiting, or other protective measures;
- Use the service in violation of applicable law.
Normal professional use of outputs in your own planning deliverables — reports, studies, drawings, client work — is expressly permitted and encouraged.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. AVPLOT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL CONFORM TO CURRENT FAA STANDARDS.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AVPLOT AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY CLAIMS, OR COSTS OF REWORK — ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY OUTPUT. IN ALL CASES, AVPLOT'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100) IF YOU HAVE PAID NOTHING.
8. Termination
AvPlot may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, abuse of the service, or non-payment, with or without notice. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). Sections 1–3, 6, and 7 survive termination.
9. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced to the account email on file before they take effect; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
